On his Winners Edge podcast with Jeff Tuttle Greg stated that he liked and made an investment on the Chiefs -5.5 points in the second half. This is a wager that must be made BEFORE the game starts. Kansas City is 13-02 in the second half vs. the numbers in their last 15 games. They had reeled off 11 straight before a 10-10 tie in the second half last week when hosting the Raiders as that late Las Vegas touchdown cst the Chiefs a "W."

Greg's investment is on the Chiefs -5.5 points in the second half, (20-07,) WON.

 

WK 08, Giants at Steelers

The Steelers are horrible when favored by 4 or more points at home, (and not off a bye week,) If you bet on the road underdogs when getting +4 or more points your success rate is 16-03 = 84% ATS since 2017. The dog has also covered seven consecutive games and since 2018 the road underdog has a success rate of 11-01 = 92.5% ATS. Greg passed on the side tonight and went with a prop investment instead.

Greg's 2.0-unit investment is on Russell Wilson to stay under 201.5 passing yards @ -115, lost, (278 passing yards.)

 

WK 07, Ravens at Buccaneers

The Ravens are fantastic in the first half and are on a covering ATS streak of 17-08 = 68%.

Greg's 3.0-unit first half investment is on the Ravens -2.5 points @ -125, (17-10,) WON.

 

WK 06, Bills at NY Jets

Play the Monday night game under the total when the home underdog has lost two of their last three games. This system is 22-41 = 65% UNDER the past 12 years including 1-5 under the past two seasons.When the total is less than 43 points the total is 03-10 = 77% under including 0-7 under in division games.

The system is live on the Bills and Jets to stay under 41.5 points @ -109 (23-20,) The system lost.

 

WK 05, Saints at Chiefs

From week one through five inclusive play  on all underdogs of +5.5 to +9.5 points. This system s 57-30 = 65.5% ATS since the league reduced the preseason to three from four games, (with the exception of the Hall of Fame Game.) Defense is ahead of offense and the majority of teams play very few starters in the preseason so getting +5.5 to +9.5 points is a positive. This system is live on the Saints +5.5 points, (26-13.)

The Saints lost.

 

WK 04, Seahawks at Lions

Seattle has defeated Denver, New England and the Dolphins, this is a step up in class tonight vs. Detroit. Greg's comp is on the Lions -3.5 or -4 points. The Lions won, (42-29.)

 

WK 03, Jaguars as Bills as well as Commanders at Bengals

WK 02, 09/16/24, Falcons at Eagles

Saquon Barkley rushed for 109 yards and scored three touchdowns vs. the Packers last Friday in Brazil. The Falcons are going to have a hard time slowing him down. The defense for the Falcons held the Steelers to six field goals but this is a step in class vs. a more formidable opponent.  The skill position players for the Eagles are just so much better and the immobility of quarterback Kirk Cousins will be problematic for the Falcons. I have an opinion on the Eagles at -5.5 points even though AJ Brown is out tonight for Philadelphia.

WK. 01, 09/09/24. Jets at SF49ers

The AFC, (American Football Conference,) began play in 1960 with eventually reaching 10 teams before their merger with the NFC in 1970. The AFC teams were considered to be lower tier teams when compared to the NFC, (National Football Conference.) However that all changed overnight as on 01/12/69 the 19.5 underdog New York Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts, (16-07.) 

The following season the ABC-TV Network began broadcasting NFL games on Monday night, (09/21/70) and the Jets traveled to Cleveland to face the Browns as 1.5 point road underdogs, a game that New York would lose, (31-21.) Neither New York team would appear at home until the mid 1970's, and my thoughts as to why both New York teams were shut out from hosting a home MNF game would be due to the massive TV market that New York City has and thus help ABC garner television advertising revenue from major sponsors.

So, we fast forward to the 2024 week one Monday night game with the Jets traveling to the city by the bay to face the 49ers. As quick as a New York minute, this line opened at +6 and was immediately bet down to +5.5 then +5 and the number currently sits at +4/+4.5 if you're inclined to back the Jets. The total is 44 and 43.5 at most sports books.

Will we see the old Aaron Rogers or an Aaron Rogers that is OLD? I have an opinion on the under tonight.
